Horses offered for sale

Horses for Sale

Honest listings, clear representation, and matches that make sense.

How We Sell — Honest, Clear, Fair

Availability & Holds

When a horse is sold, they are sold (in nearly all cases). We do not hold horses without a deposit. If you’re seriously interested, please reach out—viewings and videos are welcome.

  • No holds without deposit.
  • Sale is final once funds clear and Bill of Sale is executed.
  • Viewings welcome by appointment; live video calls available.

Pre-Purchase Exams (PPE)

PPEs are welcome and at the buyer’s discretion. All PPE costs are the responsibility of the prospective buyer.

  • Schedule with your chosen veterinarian; we’re glad to coordinate.
  • Please note: horses remain for sale until a deposit is received.

Payments & Paperwork

  • Accepted payments: cash or cashier’s checks.
  • Bill of Sale: provided for each horse.
  • Registration/transfer paperwork (if applicable) completes upon cleared funds.

Liability & Safety

Horses are living, thinking animals. We encourage PPEs and welcome multiple viewings so you can make an informed decision. Handling and test rides are by appointment.

Right to Decline

We’re honest and up-front, and we’re happy to answer questions. We also reserve the right to decline a sale at our discretion—no explanation necessary—if we feel it is not in the horse’s best interest.

Transparency

We represent each horse as accurately as we can: current training, temperament, and fit. Ask us anything—we’ll be candid about strengths, limits, and the kind of program that suits them.

Consignment is Represented “As-Is”

We represent horses as they truly present in our program. If a horse arrives labeled “broke,” but under saddle shows behaviors that indicate otherwise (e.g., bucking, confusion, major gaps), we will not market the horse as broke.

  • Under Saddle: Horses are listed according to how they actually go for us—broke, green, needs restart, or prospect.
  • Handling: If a “well-handled” yearling proves difficult to catch, won’t pick up feet, or won’t tie, we will list as lightly handled/halter broke.
  • Reclassification: If meaningful training is required to market accurately and safely, the horse must enter training (not consignment) until ready. Consignment can resume once training goals are met.

This protects buyers’ expectations and, most importantly, the horse’s safety and welfare.

  • Marketing: pro photos/video, listing copy, buyer screening, scheduling
  • Transparency: honest representation, candid feedback, and qualified trials
